授業の目的

The aim of this class is to improve your communicative competence in English.

授業の概要

Students will participate in role-play activities using scenes from movies and make one-minute speeches on topics of their choices. The class will also involve group and pair work activities in order to maximize the speaking opportunities. Each class meeting consists of 1) short talk on topic to be given by the instructor, 2) one-minute speech by two or three students, 3) role-play ( two or three group presentations) after watching movies, and 4) pair(group) work activities. Active participation is essential for this class.
