| 授業の目的 |
|
| To give students exposure to and practice with English speaking and writing short essays. |
|
| 授業の概要 |
|
| In class, you are asked to speak and write only in English; the instructor will not speak Japanese either, except 10-minute Japanese-speaking sessions in the middle of and at the end of the class where you are allowed to ask some questions you think are too complicated to deal with in English. You are also asked to do some work out of class; reading some instructions or example passages and do some writing assignment. At the end of the semester, there will be a final essay writing based on your weekly works. Note that the class schedule given below is tentative and it can be changed. |
