| 授業の目的 |
| The aim of the class is to introduce students to the physical environment of Australia, issues in contemporary Australian society, and Australian English. |
| 授業の概要 |
| This seminar is for students who are interested in Australian Studies and Australian English. Seminars will consist of learning about the Australian environment, viewing videos of the Australian landscape, flora and fauna, listening to recordings of Australian English, and presenting research reports on topics related to Australia of their choice. |

| Students will be required to follow current events in Australia using the internet. |

| Students will attain an understanding of the distinctive features of the Australian environment and society, and learn to distinguish Australian English from other varieties of English. |
