Rhythms of Spoken English

目的

a) To develop listening skills b) to improve communication skills c) to use rhythm and intonation to convey meaning d) to improve written skills

概要

We will listen to Jazz Chants, perform them in pairs, do exercises to reinforce our memory of the Jazz Chants and apply them to everyday communication. Written skills will also be developed; homework will be a weekly journal entry.

注意

A maximum of three absences will be permitted.

1.Students will learn about the differences between the sounds of spoken English and the way they are represented in written form.
