Grasping a better command of academic reading, writing, and discussions.
概要
Students will decide on a new topic of choice concerning a social problem or current event to work with during the semester. With his or her social problem, the student will keep up with the news through newspapers, magazine and internet articles, internet blogs, or TV and movie documentary and films.

評価
Assessment will be based on reading and writing homework, class discussions, final presentations and reports.Teacher-student and student-student communication in class will be conducted in English. Students are recommended to think about or even choose a social problem before attending the first class.
