目的
この授業では，「研究の素材」となりうるテキスト自体を読解するというよりは，「テキストをどのように研究するか」について示唆を与えてくれる海外の研究書や理論書，論文を英語で講読し，研究テーマの設定方法や研究手法の基礎知識を得ることを目的とする．
概要
テキストの分析·批評方法についての海外の研究書や理論書，論文を英語で講読する．今回は，フェミニズム，批評言語学理論等に基づいてテクスト批評する視点を提示したSara MillsのFeminist Stylisticsから，Introduction とPart 1:General Theoretical Issues (Chapter 1-3)を読む．

注意
毎回5-7ページ程度を講読する，1ページあたりの分量は比較的多く，内容も平易とは言えない．受講生の英語読解力に合わせてテキストを変更するなどの配慮はしないので，そのつもりで履修すること．
